NADA Foreland 2023
This year’s expanded edition of NADA Foreland will feature over 40 participating galleries and over 60 exhibiting artists in a collaborative exhibition cascading through Foreland’s historic Flagship Building and Waterfront; a community market featuring books, art objects, and more in our Bookhouse; a selection of premier food by Lil Debs Oasis and beverage vendors across our sprawling waterfront lawn; and robust series of live music, discussions, guided tours, and other performances throughout the weekend.
“We’re thrilled to collaborate again with NADA and the international art community it has and continues to foster,” says Jesse Greenberg, Foreland's Director of Programming. “This year’s sprawling, Kunsthalle-style exhibition will interact with the historical architecture and natural beauty of our Hudson Valley setting, as well as see an expanded offering of performances, special events, and community vendors.”

About the New Art Dealers Alliance
Founded in 2002, the New Art Dealers Alliance (NADA) is a not-for-profit 501c6 collective of professionals working with contemporary art. Their mission is to create an open flow of information, support, and collaboration within our field and to develop a stronger sense of community among their constituency.
They believe that the adversarial approach to exhibiting and selling art has run its course. They believe that change can be achieved through fostering constructive thought and dialogue between various points in the art industry from large galleries to small spaces, non-profit and commercial alike. Through support and encouragement, NADA facilitates strong and meaningful relationships between our members working with new contemporary and emerging art; while enhancing the public’s interaction with contemporary art.
NADA’s international group of members includes both galleries (including non-profit spaces) and individuals (art professionals, independent curators, and established gallery directors.) They believe in a spirit of friendly competition and the power of working collectively to gain access to resources and to provide services to artists and the public that they could not as individuals.
To date, NADA’s initiatives have succeeded on two fronts: making contemporary art more accessible for the general public, and creating opportunities that nurture the growth of emerging artists, curators, and galleries. Events include collaborative exhibitions, artist talks, gallery walks with critics and curators, charity benefits, members-only seminars, panel discussions, and an annual art fair held in Miami in December.
